Scope

The 711th Human Performance Wing (711 HPW) of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) includes four components: The United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM), the Airman Systems Directorate (711 HPW/RH), the Human Performance Integration Directorate (711 HPW/HP), and the Wing staff offices. USAFSAM provides Aerospace Medicine Training, Education, and Consultation to Enhance Warfighter Performance and Combat Casualty Care for Worldwide Operations in garrison and war. It is the center for aeromedical education, training, and consultation in direct support of USAF, Department of Defense (DoD), and in operations. USAFSAM provides peacetime and contingency support in hyperbaric, human performance, clinical and environmental health, laboratory and risk analysis, expeditionary medical support, and aeromedical evacuation. The 711 HPW/RH studies developing technologies specific to the human element of warfighting capability.


The Directorate leads the AF in its human-centered research. 711 HPW/RH integrates biological and cognitive technologies to optimize and protect the Airman’s capabilities to Fly, Fight, and Win in Air, Space, and Cyberspace. The Directorate provides critical network connectivity enabling researchers, scientists, and evaluators access to internet resources and collaboration with universities. The 711 HPW/HP enables execution of Human Systems Integration within AF total integrated life cycle management. Scope

The Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) is an Air Force Data and Test Center organization that provides the most advanced and largest complex of flight simulation capabilities to USAF and DoD. The complex operates 58 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges and other specialized units.

 

The AEDC Base Communications and IT Services (BCITS) provides network-centric information technology (IT), networking, and security, voice, video and data communications, information and applications management, system solutions services, as well as emerging requirements mandated by the USAF CIO. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Applications Development and Maintenance

Scope

The Army Sustainment Command, or ASC, is the logistics arm of the Army Materiel Command that provides our warfighters with everything they need to do their jobs. America's soldiers need ammunition, equipment, food, uniforms and much more to fight and win on the battlefield or to respond to natural disasters. The Army Sustainment Command ensures they get the resources they need. 


Provides IT support through application development and maintenance of internal ASC applications and systems. Responsible for the development, implementation, and operations and maintenance (O&M) of web-based knowledge management solutions focused on improving the communication, coordination, and collaboration of ASC HQ staff and ~75,000 users deployed around the world. Army Field Support Command, Global Logistics and Support Services

The U.S. Army Field Support Command, has a continuing requirement for Global Logistics and Support Services (GLASS) in support of Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) and Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) Reachback Division. Requirements include providing combat support and combat service support (CS/CSS) augmentation to Combatant Commanders (COCOMs) and Army Service Component Commanders (ASCCs) throughout the full range of military operations.

Our prime support is to document the LOGCAP Worldwide Management and Staffing Plan (WMSP), regional plans and integrate the planning with LOGCAP IV support and theater planners.


Our LOGCAP Planning and Support provides non-inherently government functions such as:
